William Stravato began studying classical guitar at the age of 14, then devoted himself to modern guitar as a self-taught player and studied jazz under the guidance of Rocco Zifarelli.
In 1997 he attended the Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood, studying with masters such as Scott Henderson, Joe Diorio and Brett Garsed .
In 1998 he released his first solo album, "Survivor" , followed in 2000 by "Cybertone" , both produced by Virtuoso Records and appreciated by international critics.
He has held numerous concerts and educational seminars , collaborating with world-famous artists. Since 2000 he has curated a column in Axe Magazine , publishing numerous articles dedicated to guitar teaching.
In 2004 he released "Contact" , recorded with Salvatore Russo , and took part in a tour in Spain opening concerts for Richie Kotzen .
He then collaborated with Ian Paice, Andy Timmons, Jennifer Batten and Peppino D'Agostino , performing at prestigious festivals such as the Ziua Chitarelor in Bucharest and the Eddie Lang Jazz Festival .
Since 2004 he has taught at the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome, where he is accredited as an AFAM teacher.
In 2013 he started a collaboration with Musicoff , creating a series of educational videos.
In 2019 he released his latest album, "Uranus" , consolidating his career as one of the most respected Italian guitarists and teachers.
